The 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu system was created by Eddie Bravo and focuses solely on No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  This clinching style allows students to avoid getting hit with punches, while attacking their opponent with non-stop submission attempts.  The 10th Planet system is constantly evolving and is known for developing many unorthodox and highly effective positions such as the Rubber Guard, the lockdown half guard, and the Truck/Twister submission. The style continues to gain popularity due to its open mindset and willingness to evolve and adapt the latest grappling concepts.

Ben Gardner is the owner and head coach of 10th Planet Bath.  Throughout his life, Ben studied various martial arts and began training at 10th Planet Rochester in 2011.  After many years of training and competing, Ben received his Black Belt in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in 2021 from Chris Herzog. 

In January of 2022, 10th Planet Bath was officially opened with the goal of providing a world class training experience while helping students to maximize their full potential.  Today, Ben is committed to offering the highest level of coaching to his students by teaching and instilling his passion for jiu-jitsu in them.
